Larnaca:
Beach Classics
Let’s stroll along the gentle Larnaca sea, enjoying architectural and historical monuments of different centuries.
Let’s stroll along the gentle Larnaca sea, enjoying architectural and historical monuments of different centuries — from the 18th to the 21st century.
This route is a rectangle between the beach and Zinonos Kitieos street named after the philosopher Zenon (Zeno) of Citium, the founder of the Stoic school of philosophy.
It’s a collection of elegant, unusual, and iconic houses from different eras, some of which have become cultural centers and host exhibitions, among them — the Larnaca Biennale.
The itinerary was compiled with the support and advice of Iosif Hadjikyriakos, an art historian and the Director of Larnaka Archives-Phivos Stavrides, which is also located in one of the houses on the itinerary. Special thanks to Mrs. Leda Solomonidou and Mrs. Leda Sandama for the warm welcome.
